Thursday Program

 This course is aimed at 8-18 year old girls. This course aims to help young girls to improve their English with lots of creative methods of teachings and fun.

 The Five-Day and Three-Day Course

This course aims at 18 and above year old girls who wish to improve their English. There are 7 levels. The text  books used are New Interchange (Cambridge University). Each level consists of two parts. Part A is studying through the New Interchange series, part B is studying through the GWCC own curriculum, covering Health, Hygiene, Environmental and Human Right issues relevant to the community.

  Summer Program

 The course structure is similar to the Thursday course, with the addition of more projects, educational excursions, and exercise programs and craft activities.

 French Language Program

 With the support of the French Yemeni Studies Center (CFEY), the GWCC have commenced its first French language classes in 2000.

All computer and internet courses on offer include training in Windows, Word, Excel, typing, Power Point, Access and internet. 

 In 2001, GWCC with cooperation of UNIFEM conducted a free workshops on “how to use Internet” for Female NGOs and Female schools. By the end of the project GWCC was successfully able to train up to 400 women. The computer and Internet are part of the Youth Leadership Program and the Skills Development Program.

 The Youth Leadership Graduates are planning to start a project on their own with cooperation of GWCC and Yalla Shabab Club  that is called “FUTURE LEADERS”  . Each graduate will be responsible to teach 10 underprivileged girls on how to use computer (windows , Word, Internet).
